Filter Fabrics



Filter Fabrics are the media for filtration process in the production plants. Filtration Material is a soft delicate ,and different colored cloth which is used in the plant for purification. These are categorized in the two categories. Woven and non woven.



1- Non Woven:- Non Wove Filter fabrics are designed as sheet or web structure. Filter fabrics of this type of cloth are attached with each other by mechanically, thermally or chemically. These are flat , porous and as in the form of sheet. Non woven Filter fabrics are of short life,single-use textile or a very durable fabric. Non woven Filter fabrics have special performance for example absorbent,liquid repellent, resilient,stretch, softness ,strength, frame retardant, washable,cushioning,filtering ,bacterial barrier and sterility. These qualities are often combined to create fabric right for certain jobs, during achieving a good balance between product use-life and its cost. They can be identical as woven fabric in its pattern and strength and can be bulky as the thickest padding. They offer a large range of items of various qualities in combination with other materials. They are used alone or as component of apparel products,home furnishing items,health care products,engineering goods,industrial items and consumer commodities.



Usage of Non Woven Fabrics:-



1- It can be implemented as disposable nappies.

2-It may be implemented as sanitary napkins and tampons.

3-It can be used as sterile wraps, caps, gowns , masks and dripping

4-It is employed in medical discipline. For instance surgical gowns,surgical equipments etc.

5-It can be utilized as household and personal wipes.

6-It may be utilized as laundry aids for example fabric dryer-sheet

7-It is usually utilized as apparel interlining .

8-It may be implemented as carpeting and upholstery fabrics,padding and backing.

9-It may be utilized as wall covering in building construction.

10-It can be used as agricultural covering and seed strips.

11-It can be used as automotive headliner and upholstery filters.

12-It can be implemented as envelopes.

13-It is usually utilized as tags,labels,insulation etc.

Woven Fabrics:-

Woven filtration medium is utilize as a filtering element in pressure filter kit. Filter fabrics of these varieties

are practical in filtering solid from liquid fed into the filtration gadget. Filter fabrics of this type are woven in a pattern and materials that deliver desired capability to trap solids in the slurry and allow the fluid to flow through. The fibers used in the cloth are selected according to their ability to resist deterioration from the chemical ,heat or abrasive characteristic of the slurry.
